The Magpul DAKA Can 2.0 (MAG1223) is a rigid, impact-resistant polymer container with a sealing lid, built to protect the small essentials you can't afford to lose or soak — electronics, batteries, medication, documents, keys and EDC. The 2.0 refines the sealing and interior over the original, and the tough shell shrugs off crushing in a pack or vehicle.

What does the sealed lid actually do?

The lid seals the can so damp and dirt stay outside, which is the point of putting batteries, medication or documents in it rather than loose in a pack. The rigid impact-resistant polymer body then shrugs off crushing that would wreck the contents of a soft pouch. The interior stays quiet and rattle-free, so it does not announce itself every time the pack moves.

How is the 2.0 different from the original, and from the other DAKA storage?

The 2.0 refines the sealing and the interior over the original DAKA Can.
