The HM3X is a 3x magnifier with 2.75 in of eye relief on a flip-to-side mount.
Buying the pair together is cheaper than buying the two items separately, and the heights are already matched so the magnified image lines up with the sight. The thing to check before ordering is rail length: the receiver needs enough continuous MIL-STD-1913 rail to take the sight with the magnifier sitting behind it, which shorter uppers and some shotgun ribs will not give you.

What the HS510C and HM3X combo fits
Both units clamp to a standard MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail, one in front of the other, which suits an AR-pattern flat-top or a rail-topped straight-pull.
