The Holosun HE507K X2 ACSS is a compact open-reflex green dot sight on Holosun's K footprint, carrying the ACSS Vulcan reticle — a chevron aiming point inside a large guidance circle.
The circle pulls your eye to the middle of the window and the chevron tip gives you something finer than a dot to aim with. That combination is why the Vulcan has a following.
The aluminium housing measures 1.6 x 0.98 x 0.95 in (40.6 x 24.9 x 24.1 mm) and weighs 1.0 oz (28 g), rated IP67 for water and dust and tested to 5000G. A CR1632 sits in a side-loading tray, rated up to 50,000 hours, and Shake Awake with last-setting recall means it comes back on where you left it.
Twelve brightness levels cover ten daylight settings and two that work under night vision, with 1 MOA clicks and 30 MOA of travel each way. Two things to be clear about: the emitter is open rather than sealed, and this is the K footprint, so an RMR-cut mounting needs the C-series version of the same optic instead.
