The Holosun 509PLT-FN509T is the factory adapter plate that bridges FN's 509 Tactical optics-mounting system and Holosun's own 509-series footprint.
The 509 series does not use the RMR pattern and it does not use RMSc either. It has a rear lug of its own, and that is precisely why a dedicated plate exists.
Holosun machine the plate from aluminium and give it a hard anodised finish, cut on one face to the FN 509 Tactical mounting system and on the other to the 509-series pattern. Holosun list the plate as taking their 509-series optics and the AEMS-MACRO, so the same part serves both families.
Fit the plate to the slide first, then the optic to the plate, and the sight sits square and low with no packing or filing. It is worth checking what your slide is actually cut for before ordering, because the FN 509 Tactical mounting system is not the same as the plate systems on other FN models. Holosun do not state which screws are supplied with this plate, so treat the hardware as unconfirmed rather than assumed.
