The BCM RAIDER is a free-float M-LOK handguard for AR-15 and M4 rifles, built on a double-wall extrusion with six integral Picatinny rail channels and a continuous MIL-STD-1913 top rail.
BCM's stiffest handguard for its weight — the RAIDER puts a double wall between your support hand and the barrel and gives you rail and M-LOK on the same tube.
The RAIDER's defining feature is its double-wall extrusion, which BCM built to produce one of the most rigid free-float platforms in its weight class. Six channels of Picatinny rail are machined at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions alongside M-LOK slots, and the top rail runs unbroken from the receiver forward — so you can clamp a Picatinny accessory directly where you need it without giving up the slim, comfortable M-LOK profile everywhere else.
It is held to the receiver by BCM's patented combat rail lock-up (US Patent 8904691), which uses self-locking cross bolts applying centred force to align the handguard and hold that alignment through firing. On a UK straight-pull AR-15, where the rifle is worked by hand and shot deliberately from bipod, bag or barricade, a tube that does not shift is the difference between a zero you can trust at the muzzle end and one you re-check every session.
Equipment pass-through ports take zip ties and cordage for routing pressure pads and wires inside the tube rather than around it, and the handguard free-floats the barrel completely.
Why shooters choose the RAIDER
-
Double-wall extrusion — one of the most rigid free-float platforms in its weight class
-
M-LOK and Picatinny together — six rail channels at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock without losing the slim M-LOK profile
-
Patented combat rail lock-up — self-locking cross bolts apply centred force and hold alignment
-
Pass-through ports — route pressure pads and cordage inside the tube, not around it
-
Two lengths — 10" at approx. 9.5 oz (270 g), 13" at approx. 11.7 oz (330 g)
What the RAIDER fits
Fits AR-15/M4 upper receivers, including UK straight-pull AR-15 builds, and is supplied with its own steel barrel nut — fitting replaces the existing handguard and barrel nut rather than sliding over them. The tube must clear your gas block along its full length, so measure from the receiver face to the front of the block first: the 10" generally suits carbine-gas barrels with a low-profile block, the 13" suits mid-length gas on a 16" barrel. Accessories are M-LOK, or Picatinny clamped directly to the integral rail channels; KeyMod hardware does not fit. Note that BCM's naming is often garbled in third-party listings — the 10" part is the RAIDER-M10 and the 13" part is the RAIDER-M13, as printed by BCM.
