The BCM Modular Scout Light Mount is an ambidextrous aluminium weapon light mount for AR-15 and M4 rifles, attaching directly to a KeyMod handguard and clamping the light body itself.

The whole buying decision is the body diameter: this mount fits lights measuring 0.825 to 0.832 in (21.0 to 21.1 mm) across the barrel, and nothing else.

Unlike a mount that presents a Picatinny stub for a light with its own rail clamp, this one grips the light body directly, which is why it sits so low and so close to the handguard. It is fully ambidextrous, so it works at the 3 or 9 o'clock position without buying a handed version, and multiple mounting holes let you slide the light fore and aft to put the tailcap where your thumb actually falls. Torque the light clamp screws to 25 in-lb and the KeyMod fasteners to 30 in-lb. No light is included.
