The B5 Systems Enhanced SOPMOD is a collapsible carbine stock for AR-15 and M4 rifles, fitting any Mil-Spec-diameter carbine receiver extension.

A stock built for hard service — the Enhanced SOPMOD gives a carbine a rear end that soaks up abuse.

The B5 Systems Enhanced SOPMOD Stock is the commercial version of the SOPMOD-pattern furniture B5 Systems is known for. The wide SOPMOD cheek weld — a pattern shooters consistently rate among the most comfortable ever fitted to a carbine — pairs with water-resistant storage compartments on both sides and ambidextrous QD sling sockets, all moulded in glass-filled polymer.

On a Mil-Spec carbine extension it locks up tight and adjusts positively, giving duty and hard-training rifles a rear end that takes punishment and keeps batteries dry while doing it. This is what "buy once" looks like in a carbine stock.

What do I get with the Enhanced SOPMOD that a plain stock does not have?

It has water-resistant storage compartments in the body for batteries, small spares or a cleaning kit, and QD sockets built in for sling attachment. The body is glass-filled polymer, which is what gives it the solid, dense feel compared with lighter mouldings. It is the fuller-featured stock in the B5 line rather than the minimalist option.

The QD sockets take standard push-button quick-detach sling swivels, so you can move the sling from side to side depending on how you shoot.
